Courtyard meeting: Kakon (House wife) in Baksanagar Union under Nawabgang Upazila, Dhaka said that “Apa people say a lot, the number of women in our village are very tortured, women are the ones who torture women more, my husband sister (Nanad) has been torturing physically and mentally in various ways from her mother-in-law. There was a meeting about the Legal Aid law issue. I wanted to bring my Nanad to the meeting but her mother-in-law did not allow her to come to the meeting. She has fallen ill. She can be taken Legal Aid Service from Dhaka, through the District Legal aid office”

Bi-monthly meeting: Mr. Mohammad Jasim Uddin (Member Secretary) Churain Union Parishad under Nawabganj Upazila Dhaka said that “we resolve most of the clients or people of cases in our village who come to our Union Parishad office. Many of our Union Parishad members are sincere and they go to various judicial arbitrations or meetings and talk about government legal aid programs. If all the clients in the Union Parishad are taking for legal services and the leaders of the Union Parishad do not get the services in that way, then we give them the form of the Refer to the District Legal Aid Office. In addition, we provide the hotline number-16430 of the District Legal Aid Office. If anyone needs to file a lawsuit, they can call this number and get legal aid services”
